Guests of history.
The luxury Hotel Palace is an important witness to the last century of Roman history: the building was designed in the ‘20s by the eclectic architect Marcello Piacentini, already renowned for his Palace of Justice in Milan, the Rectorate of the University of Rome and many buildings commissioned by the Roman bourgeoisie.
Inside the hotel, you can marvel at the enormous frescoes in which Guido Cadorin immortalised Roman high society of the 1930s. The fact that the people portrayed actually existed gives the frescoes a vitality and a realism that immediately strikes the viewer.
The Boscolo Hotel Palace was also a key landmark during the exuberant years of La Dolce Vita, when Via Veneto was the gathering place of the biggest names in international show business.
