one of the finest patrician villas
in the Alpine foothills of Lombardy. Located
in a small town, Induno Olona, it stands in
a strategic position: just a few kilometers
from Varese, from Lake Maggiore
and from the Swiss border; from here it is
also easy to reach the new Milan Pero Trade
Fair Center as well as Malpensa airport.
The villa as we see it today was built
over a series of different periods. Originally
dating from the Fifteen hundreds, it was extended
in the Eighteenth century, and has recently
been renovated. The splendid park that
surrounds it is full of old statues and topiary
art.
The public rooms are redolent of Eighteenth
century Italy, while in the 64 spacious
bedrooms, the valuable antique oriental
furnishings bear witness to Count Gian
Pietro's passion for exotic places, without,
however, failing to provide state-of-the-art
technology and full fittings. There are 14
Junior Suites, and 4 full Suites of
which 2 are Presidential, and there are
also special rooms for those with disabilities
and those suffering from allergies. In this
marvellous villa well-being reigns supreme,
as you can discover in the fitness center,
with its modern Technogym equipment, 4-seat
jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. Then you
can savour the Restaurant Le Meridiane,
the Restaurant del Conte, and the Restaurant
Le Serre nel Parco, which divide the pleasures
of good food: from sophisticated dishes,
to Mediterranean and international specialities,
all the way to banquets organised for
special events. There is also a business center,
whose 6 conference rooms are fitted
with state-of-the-art equipment, perfect for
large conferences, but also for smaller, more
confidential meetings and concerts.
